New Year's "Blog-olutions"

I know most of you are probably curious as to what my "surprise" is for the new year. I've come up with three "Blog-olutions" (in the tradition of New Year's Resolutions) which I will implement in my blog this year. Here they are:

  • I shall share with you one of my poems or songs that I have written each week. I will try to make it one that I actually wrote that week, but some weeks I may go back and pick an older one. (Please remember that these are copyrighted pieces of work, so don't use them unless you ask me for permission.) :)

  • I also plan on writing more about my musical journey - how I am progressing as a performer/accompanyist, composer, and teacher. I might even upload some audio files of the music I'm working on... so stay tuned!

  • And also, of course, I will blog about anything that is creative or unique or that God has laid upon my heart that day.

If you're new to my blog, or just a casual reader, I hope that you will come along for the ride in the year 2010. Please follow me, or subscribe to my feed. And if you're already a follower of my blog, I would love for you to comment - even if it's just to say hi and tell me you liked what I posted. :)

As I think about this new year, my prayer for each one of you (and myself as well) is that you may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and praise forever!

~Melody

Just so you know I just posted the membership form for the book club here:

What do you think of having something by Jane Austen as the first book?

Cassie

Yay for comments! You gals made my day! :D

Kendra: Thank you! Hopefully I can keep them up and not have them fall by the wayside like so many New Year's Resolutions do. ;)

Cassie: I think having the first book be something from Jane Austen sounds like a wonderful idea! The only books of hers I've read are Pride and Prejudice, and Emma. So anything other than those would be great!

Eldarwen: I'm glad you like my blog! Yours sounds really neat as well, and I look forward to reading your posts!
